At Definity, a leading technology company focused on AI-driven solutions and digital transformation, we are continuously expanding our team to support innovative, high-impact projects. We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in test automation, who is passionate about software quality, detail-oriented, and eager to work with a leading automotive company headquartered in Fremont, California. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions for the Megapack platform, supporting critical business processes such as quoting, contract management, and invoicing while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

• Bachelor’s degree and professional license (cédula profesional)

What you bring

• Experience with Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience validating web, mobile, and API applications.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Zephyr, or similar.
• Experience writing SQL queries for test validation.
• Experience using log analysis tools such as Splunk.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced English (required) – ability to communicate effectively in meetings and with international teams.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and execute advanced test suites.
• Implement and execute test strategies across supported platforms and languages.
• Perform functional and automated testing.
• Develop backend integration tests and RESTful API tests.
• Build automation frameworks and test cases using Selenium and Python.
• Design integration, regression, and stress tests.
• Leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Program Managers to define test cases.
• Create and maintain test plans, specifications, and test suites.
• Provide technical leadership and promote engineering best practices.
