We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing, who is passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a leading automotive company headquartered in Fremont, California.

• Must have Mexican nationality
• Valid Mexican passport required
• Bachelor’s degree and professional license (cédula profesional)

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience in Software QA (Manual & Automation).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Experience testing REST APIs (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Familiarity with AI tools applied to testing or development workflows.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of test case management and bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
• Advanced English (required) – ability to communicate effectively in meetings and with international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Basic programming/scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
• Performance or load testing experience
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

What you'll do

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
• Validate REST APIs (functional, integration, and regression testing)
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies
• Participate in test planning, test strategy, and continuous improvement of QA processes
• Leverage AI tools to optimize testing processes and improve efficiency
• Ensure quality across the full software development lifecycle
