Definity is adding an experienced iOS Developer to provide senior technical leadership and mentorship within our iOS engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep technical ownership, navigating the evolving iOS platform, and guiding other developers through complex implementation decisions.

This is a full-time position, remote and open to candidates across all of LATAM.

Requirements

• Strong expertise with SwiftUI and MVVM/MVI architecture.
• Experience working in a mixed codebase supporting both UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with iOS 18, including backward-compatibility handling between Liquid Glass and standard blur/vibrancy materials.
• Experience shipping applications to the App Store.
• Application security experience.
• Advanced English

Main Activities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using SwiftUI and MVVM/MVI architecture.
• Work across a mixed UIKit/SwiftUI codebase, ensuring consistency and maintainability.
• Manage backward-compatibility considerations across iOS versions, including UI material differences introduced in iOS 18.
• Apply application security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor other iOS developers, providing technical guidance and code review support.
• Manage or support the App Store submission and release process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture decisions and technical design.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
